Kindergarten have been enjoying visual art activities this term. In Early Stage One, students make pictures and other artworks using the media and materials given, representing both real and imagined situations. They appreciate that artists make artworks and they are beginning to describe some aspects of different artworks. During term 1 students focus on paper and scissor skills to create their masterpieces. These activities are linked to the phonemes/graphemes being taught in phonics lessons. Here are some of their creations so far. I think we have some budding artists in Kindergarten this year.
